How do I know when I am feeling anxious? - The CBT Triangle
Sometimes, it can be easy to tell when we are feeling anxious – we may become tense, shaky, or uncomfortable. We may even be so anxious that we end up crying. Other times, it may not be as obvious. Watch this video to learn about the CBT triangle, which consists of the three aspects of anxiety.
As you just learned, our body and our thoughts can signal to us when we are feeling anxious.
Anxiety also shows up in the ways that we act. Usually, we avoid things we are afraid of, which we will talk about more next week. But first, let’s take a minute to identify the things that make you anxious and measure the level or amount of anxiety you experience.
