Congratulations! You have finished the sixth module of LUNA!
You are halfway through!
This week, we talked about how to reflect on what you feel after practicing mission plans. Here are some summary points to keep in mind as you practice!
- Everyone has anxious thoughts. When we are anxious, we think that something bad will happen to us.
- There are two thinking errors that generally cause anxiety: 1) probability (overestimating how likely it is that an unpleasant event will happen) and 2) consequences (overestimating how bad it will be if the unpleasant event does happen).
- This is not always true!
- Practicing your mission plan helps you experiment on your stinking thinking.
- Practicing your mission plan and reflecting after each step will help you face your fears and become less afraid.
Over the next week, make sure you remember to:
- Practice your mission plan!
- Fill in your Mission Plan Practice Log [Download link: Practice Log with Reflection.pdf] every time you practice your mission plan.
- If you feel ready, make a new mission plan by referring back to Module 4. [Hyperlink to Teen Module 4]
