Don’t forget to discuss with your parent before starting this module to be sure that you and your parent are reading the same module each week!
This week, your parent will read about parenting strategies. Your module will not include that information because it only has strategies your parent can use. So, while your parent is learning new stuff, we recommend you practice the skills you have learned in LUNA so far! Try to practice every day or as often as you can.
This is also a great time to revisit any topics that you think you need to spend more time on to get the hang of. Feel free to review any of the previous modules you’d like to continue working on, and think of ways to better use the skills from those modules into your mission plan practice this week. For example, maybe it would be a good idea to look back at Coping Skills you would like to try in case they would help you face tougher fears in your Mission Plan. Or maybe it would be a good idea to look back on different Fix-It behaviors you have and how you can challenge those in your Mission Plan. Don’t forget to use the Weekly Practice Plan to plan out when you and your parent will work on your mission plan this week!
Congratulations!
Congratulations on finishing Module 10!
While your parent learns some new information this week to help with your mission plan practice, you’ll continue to practice the skills you’ve already learned.
Over the next week:
- Continue to practice the skills you have learned in LUNA so far and review any modules you think could use more work.
- Keep practicing the steps in your mission plan, and don’t forget to make a new Weekly Practice Plan!
- If you and your parent think it’s time for a new mission plan, make a new one using this Mission Plan Planning Worksheet.
