Master
Content

The first coping skill we will teach you is called deep breathing. Deep breathing is one of the quickest and easiest ways to help your body feel more relaxed. During deep breathing, you focus on your breath and slow it down. Deep breathing activates the “parasympathetic nervous system,” which is the part of our brain that helps us feel relaxed.

There are two ways to practice deep breathing. Take a look at how Sally and Neil practice their deep breathing skills and choose a way that works for you!
