Overview
Kickstart your medical school journey with the School of Medicine’s pre-entry program! This two-week program will take place from July 7 to July 18, 2025, just before summer orientation. Each year, students from the BS-MD (Bachelor of Science/Medical Doctor) and JAMP (Joint Admission Medical Program) programs are invited to participate in the two-week program.
Our two-week program includes:
- Proven academic strategies for medical school success
- Problem-based learning with real medical cases
- Mentorship and skill-building for professional identity and career development
- A chance to explore the Baylor College of Medicine campus and resources
- Opportunities to connect with incoming students and future mentoring cohorts
- A stipend to support housing costs
