Sorting and Sample Prep Guidelines

Content

Please download and read the Sorting and Sample Prep Guideline document to help better prepare for your sort appointment.

What type of tubes do I use for sorting?

For samples, we can use any 5 mL tube, BD Falcon 15 mL conicals, or 1.1 mL tubes.

For collection, you may use any brand of 15 mL, 5 mL, or 1.5 mL tube. You may also use any brand of slide or plate in a 6-well, 12-well, 24-well, or 96-well configuration.

How much volume should I bring my cells in?

Please see the most up to date measurement of how much volume in milliliters is taken up per sorter, per nozzle, and per flow rate.
