About the Program

Content

Our Endocrine Surgery Fellowship Program is designed to offer exceptional training in one of the highest volume endocrine surgery programs in the nation. With an annual case volume of 900-1000 cases, this fellowship provides a comprehensive and unique experience across four distinct clinical settings:

  • A high-volume quaternary care center
  • A public hospital with a fellow-run clinic and OR
  • A private practice like setting
  • A VA hospital

The fellow will also gain exposure to one of the leading transoral endocrine surgery programs in the country, as well as high volumes of thyroid radiofrequency ablations and exposure to a comprehensive array of adrenalectomy techniques (transabdominal, retroperitoneoscopic and robotic approaches).
Additionally, the program encourages participation in ongoing NIH-funded research projects.
