About the Lab
The Zhi Tan Lab leverages different tools including deep learning, computational chemistry, bioinformatics, and chemical biology to develop novel therapeutics for complex diseases such as cancers. The lab includes a team with multi-disciplinary background including informatician, chemist, and biologist.
Research Areas
Currently, we are particularly interested in the following areas:
- Development of small molecule inhibitors for targeted cancer therapeutics using DNA-Encoded Libraries
- Development of novel computational algorithms for virtual screening, lead optimization, and DNA-Encoded technology data analysis.
- Development of small molecule modulators of RNA-Protein Interactions.
