The Laboratory for Regenerative Tissue Repair is focused on furthering our understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underlie the fetus’ ability to regeneratively heal cutaneous wounds and the development of novel therapies to achieve scarless wound healing in postnatal tissues.
The laboratories within the center perform basic, translational, and pre-clinical research on the crosstalk between extracellular microenvironment, immunoregulation and mechanotransduction in tissue repair outcomes.
