IVIS Lumina X5 In Vivo Imaging System
The IVIS Lumina X5 In Vivo Imaging System is a high-throughput 2D optical imaging system which combines high-sensitivity bioluminescence and fluorescence with high-resolution X-ray for small animal in vivo imaging. The thermoelectrically cooled USB camera detects bioluminescence, fluorescence, chemiluminescence and Cerenkov luminescence signals, with single-cell sensitivity in vivo. Multimodal 2D imaging is achieved by overlaying the X-ray image with the bioluminescent/fluorescent image so that anatomical and structural changes can be viewed.
Our instrument includes two high throughput smart loading trays which allow imaging of fice mice while a second set of five are being staged.
Prior to using the instrument, all users will need to complete online training modules and schedule hands-on training with a member of the Core staff.
