I am a proud member of an expert team of intensivists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and nurses who provides care to children with some of the highly complex cardiac conditions. As such we strive to be the world standard of excellence in lifelong care for those impacted by cardiovascular disease of childhood. As a medical director of one of the largest Cardiac Intensive Care Units (CICU) in the country, I work tirelessly with various multidisciplinary teams to ensure that we provide exceptional, integrated clinical care for patients and families impacted by pediatric cardiovascular disease.
My academic interests include investigation of new mechanical circulatory support strategies for children with heart failure and understanding their outcomes. Accurate understanding and interpretation of hemodynamic data is essential for optimal management of critical ill patient. I study innovative hemodynamic monitoring technologies to promote early serious event recognition and prevention on our patient population.
