Sarah Blumhardt, MS, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist at the BCM Institute for Voice and Swallowing located in the department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She has particular interests in voice rehabilitation and head and neck cancer rehabilitation. She also has a background in classical singing and earned a degree in music from the University of Texas at Austin. Following her undergraduate education, Sarah earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas where she was able to also participate in voice research with Dr. Fang-Ling Lu. After graduate school, Sarah completed the Clinical Fellowship Year at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation. Sarah currently participates in research regarding patient outcomes for patients with voice disorders and is a member of several professional organizations.Memberships
