Pedram Yadollahi's research centers on the intricate interplay between tumor biology, metabolism, and the tumor immune microenvironment in the context of cancer resistance. The research objectives are delineated across three primary levels. Firstly, it involves delving into the understanding of tumor biology and metabolism, particularly focusing on the impact of metabolic dysregulation on chromatin dynamics and transcription factors. Secondly, the research aims to elucidate the influence of tumor metabolism on immune cell differentiation and infiltration into the tumor microenvironment. Lastly, it seeks to comprehend how tumor cells exploit metabolic plasticity to evade immune surveillance and reshape the process of carcinogenesis.
