Mastian Chand, M.D., M.P.H. joined the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center as an Intensivist in the Cardio-thoracic ICU. He was previously the Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Houston Methodist Hospital. While he maintains board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Neurocritical Care Medicine, his primary focus is cardiac critical care. He is especially interested in the management of cardiogenic shock, the use of mechanical circulatory support devices, and the care of critically ill heart failure patients.Websites
