Marcus Hoffman, M.D. earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Hoffman completed his training in general surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center along with T-32 NIH research in critical illness of trauma before completing additional training in surgical critical care and acute care surgery.He has joined the Division of General Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. His research interests include frailty and debility of trauma and critical illness. Dr. Hoffman has a strong interest in medical student and resident education.
