Jorge A. Miranda, M.D., assistant professor and clinical faculty at Texas Heart Institute for vascular and endovascular surgery, was born in Mexico and raised in Texas and integrates his multicultural heritage into the care of his patients. He focuses on delivering high-quality compassionate care to underserved and challenging patient populations. He specializes in complex minimally invasive aortic reconstructions and advanced lower extremity revascularization for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease. His research interests range from improving access to care to surgical outcomes and device innovation.
