Professional Statement

My passion for medicine is grounded in empathy, a deep appreciation for life's fragility, and a commitment to preserving patients' health and dignity. I am dedicated to enhancing health equity and care quality by optimizing resources, practicing evidence-based care, and advocating for patients in safety net healthcare settings. As medical director, I lead quality improvement projects to tackle long-term health challenges, such as enhancing diabetes management through faculty engagement and education. I support faculty development through mentoring and research opportunities. My commitment to exceptional healthcare delivery care focuses on lifelong learning, clinical improvements, faculty development, and educating medical learners to become exemplary healthcare providers and ethical leaders.
