- We performed a retrospective evaluation of children in Sub-Saharan Africa in 6 Centres of Excellence in 5 Countries looking into whether treatment with antiretrovirals improves health outcomes and loss to follow-up rates.

- We are partnering with neonatalogy and pediatric physicians in Uganda to develop and implement the first neonatology fellowship in the country's history. We hope to help develop and foster neonatology-trained physicians through this partnership to improve neonatal care throughout Uganda.
- Evaluation of the Placental Testing for Improving Sensitivity of Congenital Zika Virus Infection

- We are evaluating the use of advanced molecular diagnostic studies on placental specimens to determine if they improve the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity for congenital Zika virus infection.
