Professional Statement
Emily Park is a student in Baylor College of Medicine's Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP, MD/PhD). She is currently a PhD candidate in the Development, Disease Models and Therapeutics Program. Her main interests are in cellular potency, stem cells, regeneration, and differentiation - particularly, she is interested in how these processes can be leveraged to create new therapeutic tools that can target everything from neurodegenerative disorders to cancer to wound-healing.Emily also serves in the MSTP Student Operating Committee and currently co-chairs the Committee for Events and Recruitment.
