Professional Statement
Dr. Ana Crew, a family medicine physician and clinician medical educator. At Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) she will be the Associate Director of Transitions to Medicine and Practice of Medicine Courses. She will be teaching and coordinating two foundational clinical skills courses for first year medical students as well as precepting students in her clinic in Waco, Texas with Baylor Scott and White clinic.She is a facilitator and preceptor on campus and in the clinical setting. She has been precepting and mentoring medical students and residents in the clinic for years and is excited to start this journey with our own students at BCM-Temple.
Clinical Work:
She works at the Baylor Scott & White Waco Fish Pond Family Medicine Clinic and provides comprehensive and preventative care to patients of all ages. She has special interests in obesity medicine, diabetes, preventative medicine, thyroid disease and patient education.
She is a tri-lingual and fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and loves to bridge the gap in medical care to the underserved Hispanic and Latino population of central Texas.
