Professional Statement
I am an impact-driven scientist in training and currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine. My ultimate goal is to find key molecular mechanisms underlying diseases and hence develop targeted therapies. With this in mind, I am pursuing my Ph.D. under the mentorship of Professor Indira Mysorekar, and studying metabolic alterations that drive aging in the female urinary bladder and increase susceptibility to urinary tract infections (UTIs) in postmenopausal women.Selected Publications
