Volunteers needed for flu vaccine trial
Baylor College of Medicine is recruiting volunteers for a clinical trial that will compare how well two different flu vaccines protect individuals from the flu.
The CDC-sponsored study is looking for adult volunteers between the ages of 18 and 64. Volunteers will receive one of two FDA-licensed flu vaccines and will be asked to respond to weekly text messages before and during the flu season. If volunteers experience any flu symptoms, they will be asked to provide a nasal swab for the study, and all volunteers will be asked to answer a questionnaire at the end of the study.
Compensation will be provided.
