Dr. Mattox receives AMA Distinguished Service Award
Kenneth L. Mattox, M.D., distinguished service professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, has been awarded the 2024 American Medical Association (AMA) Distinguished Service Award, recognizing his achievements on behalf of the medical profession. The AMA’s Distinguished Service Award is an award that recognizes a member of the AMA for their meritorious service in the science and art of medicine. The award includes a medal and citation and is given by the AMA's board of trustees.
