Dr. Gabriel Glaun was awarded the 2020 Resident Consultant Award by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. The award is presented on behalf of the faculty, residents, and nurses of Emergency Medicine to a single surgical or medical resident consultant in recognition of excellent professionalism, communication, efficiency, and patient care.
Gabriel is from Boca Raton, Fla. and graduated with honors from Florida State University with a B.S. in biological science in 2013. He then received his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in 2017. Gabriel is a third-year resident in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery and is interested in pursuing a career in academic surgery.
