Study to Demonstrate the Value of Time-Varying Patterns for Spinal Cord Stimulation in the Treatment of Chronic Pain

The goal of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) with novel waveforms as compared to conventional SCS in patients with chronic pain when using the Boston Scientific WaveWriter Alpha™ SCS System.

Eligible study candidates must meet key criteria including but not limited to:

  • 22 years of age or older
  • Have a primary complaint of persistent or recurrent pain of the trunk and/or limbs for at least six months that has not been managed by conservative therapy (e.g. pain medications, physical therapy, facet joint/ medial branch nerve blocks).
