Hello from Temple, Texas!

As Director of Baylor College of Medicine’s M.D./M.B.A. Program on the Temple campus, I am excited that you are interested in exploring the unparalleled experiences that await our trainees at our nationally ranked teaching hospital and Baylor University.

In choosing to earn a joint degree in medicine and business, you immediately take responsibility to lead the healthcare sector. Whether your interest is in administration, entrepreneurship, private practice, economics, finance, consulting, or innovation, our program with Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business will open you to worlds of opportunity and the connections that will take you there.

Our five-year program is action-packed. Equipped with foundational sciences knowledge and a year of clinical experience. After three years in medical school, students immerse in Baylor’s full-time M.B.A. program for one year. They study business foundations with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise with the Robbins Institute for Health Policy and Leadership. The program is tailored to allow M.D./M.B.A. students to finish two years of business school within one year, returning to BCM in their fifth year of training to complete their medical school requirements. During their time at Hankamer, students cultivate their curiosity through a wide range of healthcare-focused, project-oriented electives and observer opportunities at Baylor Scott & White Health system and the greater Temple/Waco area.

The M.D./M.B.A. leadership is committed to helping you reach your full potential as future healthcare leaders. Please visit Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business for more information and contact us to learn more!
