Graduate Medical Education Resident Council

Master
Content

The Graduate Medical Education Resident Council was established in 2007 to increase representation of Baylor house staff on the Graduate Medical Education Committee. Elected representatives, serving two-year positions, attend all GME Committee meetings and sit on selected sub-committees.

GME house staff members have full voting rights and are able to express concerns about issues addressed at these meetings. Your current representatives are meant to help improve resident quality of life at the various hospitals including Ben Taub, St. Luke's CHI, Texas Children's Hospital, VA Medical Center, and Baylor Clinic.

If interested in becoming more involved with resident affairs or have a specific concern that you would like to be addressed, please contact the GME Resident Council for further details.
