Division Highlights

- The Division of Trauma, Bariatric and Acute Care Surgery includes the Hernia Center and General Surgery Clinics as well as staffing of intensive care units at our affiliated hospitals.
- The department offers both a General Surgery Residency and Surgical Critical Care Residency.
- As a result of our research efforts, patients receive specialized diagnostic assessment, access to the newest treatment modalities—including clinical trials of new pharmacologic therapies and emerging surgical techniques—and coordinated follow-up care at all our clinical sites.
