Salary
Our fellowship follows the NIH Postdoctoral stipends 2020. Salary is currently at $52,704 for the first year and $53,076 for the second year.

Fellows are eligible for full benefits, including personal and family health, dental insurance, and vision insurance, as well as life insurance, AD&D insurance, and long-term disability. Baylor College of Medicine has seven standard paid holidays and four floating holidays that must be used by the end of each calendar year. In addition, fellows are eligible for 14 days of vacation time and 14 days of sick leave each appointment year or reappointment year. Vacation and sick leave do not carry forward to the next appointment year.
Up to five days of authorized absence (without need to take PTO) are available for participation in approved professional activities off-station. This may include training hours at conferences and workshops, and professional presentations. An additional five days of authorized absence may be granted for job interviews, taking the EPPP, and similar career advancement activities.
