Health Disparities Laboratory in Pediatric Psychology
Research in the HDL-PP examines aspects of the health system and factors related to children’s physical and family environments that contribute to the health outcomes of children from low-socioeconomic status and racial/ethnic minority backgrounds.
In The News
Dr. Lisa Kahalley, professor and associate chief of research for the psychology division in the Department of Pediatrics and director of neurobehavioral oncology at Texas Children’s Cancer Center, was elected as co-chair of the Pediatric Psycho-Oncology Network for the International Society of Paediatric Oncology. In this role, she will co-lead the psycho-oncology initiatives of the largest global multidisciplinary society entirely devoted to pediatric and adolescent cancers.
