A comprehensive course on peripheral and central venous access with options to attend morning sessions on peripheral access, the afternoon sessions on central access, or both.
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of the course, learners should be able to:
- Perform ultrasound guided procedures for peripheral and/or central venous access
- Describe techniques for determining failure of vascular access devices
- Describe procedures for tunneling vascular access
- Describe methods and equipment for ultrasound guided vascular access.
Pay Online
- Physicians from institutions outside of TCH: $250 for a full day; $130 for a half day in either peripheral or central venous access.
- Advanced Practice Providers, Texas Children's Faculty, and all trainees: $180 for a full day; $95 for a half day.

This workshop is open to clinicians seeking training in ultrasound for acutely ill children, particularly in the critical care setting.
