April 20, 2024 - This year, Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Department of Pediatrics Section of Adolescent Medicine and Sports Medicine hosted the 10th Anniversary of Girls Elevated. This community event helps teen and preteen girls, and their parents/caregivers navigate the changes and challenges of adolescence, so they can emerge strong healthy, resilient young women.

April 22, 2023 - Our inaugural Ob/Gyn Ultrasound Course exposed attendees to lectures and hands-on activities from basic concepts to advanced techniques to explore gynecologic and obstetric physiology and pathology. Our next Ultrasound Course is scheduled for fall 2024. More information will become available closer to the date.

March 4, 2023 - Baylor College of Medicine and the Department of Ob/Gyn in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, the Endometriosis Foundation of Houston, and Endo What?, hosted a special film screening of a powerful documentary on women’s* health and healthcare, told through the lens of endometriosis. Following the film, our panel of Baylor endometriosis specialists discussed their multi-faceted approach to early diagnosis and effective treatment.
