About the Program
The Baylor College of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency is one of the largest and most clinically comprehensive internal medicine programs in the country. Approximately 220 residents train in our different tracks and develop essential clinical reasoning, patient care, communication, scholarship, and teaching skills. Using diverse rotation experiences at our four main hospitals and many outpatient clinics, BCM IM residents use core and elective clinical opportunities to customize their residency experiences to prepare for a wide variety of careers
2024-2025 Program Recruitment Season Timeline
- Applications reviewed from late September through late October
- First interview invitations sent Oct. 14, 2024, then sent out in rolling manner
- Majority of interviews offered by Nov. 1, 2024
- Interviews take place the first week of November 2024 through the last week of January 2025
- Program rank list certified by mid-February 2025
- Optional, second look in-person visits in late February 2025 - dates TBD

DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center; a center for ambulatory care for the attending staff of the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center; the Texas Heart Institute Tower; and the Jamail Specialty Care Center and Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center, both on the Baylor McNair Campus.
