Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Conference
A weekly series of talks, PBLDs, and monthly quality improvement discussions focusing on basic topics in congenital heart disease /anesthesia.  Delivered by our own cardiac anesthesia faculty and guest lecturer.

Keat’s Corner
Named after our first Division Chief, Dr. Arthur Keats, this conference is case-based and led by an attending anesthesiologist with the goal of reviewing recent cases and highlighting their learning points.  Also included are a longitudinal series on echocardiography led by Dr. Miller-Hance and journal club led by Dr. Mossad.

CV Anesthesia Simulation
Conducted with the goal of exposing fellows to rare events in the periprocedural period and teaching crisis resource management, led by Dr. Caplan.    

Heart Center Performance Rounds
A concise review of each patient’s procedural and hospital course with the goal of identifying areas for improvement.  Attended by all individuals in our Heart Center including cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and nurses.  

Multidisciplinary Meeting
Entails a review of the preceding week’s surgical cases to discuss complications or any perioperative concerns from surgery, anesthesia, or critical care.  Fellows join in the last quarter of their fellowship year.  

Surgical Case Conference
Decision-making for surgical disposition based on case presentations
