2024 Symposium
In April 2024, Global Programs launched the inaugural Global Health Symposium: Connecting Communities Through Innovation. This event highlighted our mission to make meaningful contributions through innovation, research, education, and clinical care. It showcased the impactful work of our faculty, students, and leaders, and culminated in Best Poster Awards and Best Photography Awards.
The symposium was held in collaboration with the BCM Global Health Interest Group and featured esteemed speakers such as Maria Oden, Ph.D., M.S., B.S.E., Maddy Kulkarni, M.B.A., and Umair A. Shah, M.D., M.P.H.
