Visitors should park in Texas Medical Center Garages 4, 7 or McGovern Commons. (Map - the museum is in the building marked 23)
Parking is free for the first 15 minutes and there is a $12 charge for lost tickets. Garage parking rates are as follows:
- $3 for 15 - 30 minutes
- $4 for 31- 60 minutes
- $5 for 1 hour - 1 ½ hours
- $6 for 1 ½ hours - 2 hours
- $7 for 2 - 2 ½ hours
- $8 for 2 ½ - 3 hours
- $9 for 3 - 3 ½ hours
- $10 for 3 ½ - 4 hours
- $11 for 4 - 5 hours
- $12 for more than 5 hours

The museum is open for self-guided visits Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays.
