Hispanic Heritage Month 2024
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Latino Medical Students Association is hosting two special events:
- A dinner and discussion at 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 in M323. Dr. Richard Nuila will lead a discussion titled "Latinx Healthcare in America." Register online.
- An event at 5 p.m. on Oct. 14 in Room M423. Dr. Rojas will speak on being Hispanic in medicine.
National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 and provides an opportunity to recognize contributions made and the important presence of Hispanic and Latinx Americans to the United States and celebrate their heritage and culture.
