About the Lab

The central mission of the Westbrook lab is to develop genetic technologies to uncover vulnerabilities of cancer, and to drive these basic discoveries towards therapeutic translation. We seek to tackle fundamental problems in cancer biology and leverage these discoveries into therapeutic approaches for cancer patients.
Our team is devoted to collaborative science, and is always looking to add passionate scientists with diverse strengths in genetics, cell biology, bioinformatics, or chemical biology.
