Professional Statement
Dr. Green received his Medical Doctorate from University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston where he graduated with honors with AOA. He finished a six-year orthopaedic surgical residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, then moved to New York City to complete a sports medicine fellowship with Hospital for Special Surgery.Dr. Green is trained in all aspects of operative and non-operative management of sports medicine care. He has extensive training in arthroscopic techniques in the shoulder, knee and elbow. Dr. Green has made scientific presentations at orthopaedic meetings concerning acute cartilage injury.
Dr. Green is curently seeing patients at the Mickael E DeBakey VAMC in which he manages predominately hip, knee, shoulder and elbow issues.
