Section Overview
The Section of Breast Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine brings together a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists who offer expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of both breast cancer and benign breast conditions. As part of the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center in the NCI-Designated Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, we provide our patients access to National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials and regularly recruit for them. The Section of Breast Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is also part of one of the top General Surgery Residency Programs in the country, providing trainees with an engaging and immersive experience into the most leading-edge treatments of the day.
