About Evenings With Genetics
Evenings with Genetics is a seminar series about genetics and your family’s health. This series offers the most current information on care and research for many genetic conditions and is open to the public.
Our goal is to highlight the advances in genetic research as well as encourage networking within our community.
The Evenings with Genetics seminars are sponsored by the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children Hospital.

Texas Rare Action Network and Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital Genetics invites you to join patients, families, caregivers, and other rare disease community members at The Health Museum on April 12 from 11 to 2 p.m. for a family friendly event. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other patients and caregivers, get connected to community based organizations, and enjoy the museum for free!

Children's Book Read-Along
Favorite children’s books are read by family members and friends of our faculty and staff along with their pets! This video project was inspired by PRISMS, the support group for Smith-Magenis Syndrome and directed by Dr. Sarah Elsea.
Statewide Genetics Outreach
Community webinars hosted by The Department of Molecular and Human Genetics along with the University of Texas at Austin - Texas Center for Disability Studies thanks to funding through the Texas Department of State Health Services.
