The division offers a 12-month Congenital Cardiac Surgery Fellowship program at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. The program provides the fellow with basic training in anatomy and physiology of the majority of congenital cardiac lesions. It provides a basis of surgical technical proficiency for common, uncomplicated congenital heart defects.

Our faculty is committed to ensuring the fellow has a quality educational experience to prepare him/her for a successful career in this difficult and highly specialized field.
