Membership Types
Full Member
Available to faculty members who have an active interest in HIV research and are from one of the Texas D-CFAR home or collaborating institutions:
- Baylor College of Medicine, including the School of Medicine, the National School of Tropical Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and the School of Health Professions
- University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), including The McGovern Medical School, the School of Public Health, the Cizik School of Nursing, the School of Biomedical Informatics, the MD Anderson UTHealth Graduate School, and the School of Dentistry
- Texas Biomedical Research Institute
- MD Anderson Cancer Center
Full members have access to all Texas D-CFAR Core services. To request core services, send an email to the director or co-director with your request. View contacts on the leadership profiles page.
Affiliate Member
Available to faculty members who have an active interest in HIV research and are from institutions in Texas that are not Texas D-CFAR home or collaborating institutions.
Affiliate members are invited to all Texas D-CFAR events and can serve as co-investigators on pilot grants funded by the Texas D-CFAR.
Community Member
Available to any individuals living in Texas who have an active interest in HIV research.
Community members are invited to all Texas D-CFAR events.
