The Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine is the largest clinical genetics program in the United States, and has been the number one in NIH grant-funded genetics research center for eleven years in a row. Our clinical faculty is comprised of more than 50 genetic counselors providing services across the continuum of clinical and research care. The Baylor Genetics Laboratory provided over 70,000 genetic tests last year. Whether any given graduate ultimately decides to choose a career in clinical care, research, industry or another area of practice, all Baylor graduates will have a breadth of experiences that provide the foundation for an exciting and fulfilling career.
