About the Program
The MS in Biomedical Sciences is a two-year program that provides a research-based education for a career in science. Students will develop technical, writing, and problem-solving skills necessary for diverse scientific careers. Students who complete the program will be ready to enter the workforce as staff scientists in academic labs or in industry. Students who wish to continue further training will have solid foundational knowledge and research background to apply to top-notch Ph.D. programs across the country. We welcome national as well as international students with a bachelor's degree in science.
Advanced Technology Core Laboratories
Students in the MS Program will have access to the state-of-the-art instrumentation and technologies of the Advanced Technology Core laboratories as well as training in how, when and why to use these tools. Each core is run by faculty and technicians with highly specialized expertise in the technologies provided. Ongoing assessment of cores ensures that new resources are added as technologies evolve and the needs of our researchers change.
