The curriculum in the Immunology & Microbiology Graduate Program (I&M) offers you the opportunity to identify, explore and creatively solve critical problems. Our goal is to empower you to develop knowledge, critical analysis, scientific method, leadership and communication skills essential for success in diverse scientific careers.
Our innovative program builds on active self-directed learning and peer-to-peer teaching. The I&M curriculum integrates fundamental and cutting-edge elements of immunology and microbiology. Electives allow you the flexibility to pursue and develop areas of individual and scientific and professional interest. Core and elective offerings also immerse students in the activities of grant writing and scientific presentations. You will actively participate in seminars, journal clubs, annual retreats and other activities in which you will present your work.
