About Us
The Department of Integrative Physiology at Baylor College of Medicine maintains a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary research and education environment. Through this approach, our faculty synergistically combines cutting-edge technologies and expertise, from a wide range of biological and physical science fields, with the goal of solving the major health problems of our time. Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers train in the department within our five primary research areas: Biophysics and Bioengineering; Cardiovascular Sciences; Metabolism; Neural and Muscle Physiology; and Physiology of Cancer.
